Kids and Their World

Kids and their world is an educational program aimed to improve the daily life of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in Poland. The target group are people who are responsible for the education of these kids.

At the beginning of this school year, a nationwide cycle of 16 workshops for teachers and school psychologists were started. So far 295 people from 167 institutions took the opportunity to learn more about how they can contribute to improve the world of children with ADHD.

The key strength of this program is the active involvement of key opinion leaders from the field of psychiatry, child neurology and psychology, as well as of practitioners in teaching children with ADHD. One of the key tools of the program is the portal www.adhdonline.pl (in Polish), that provides a wealth of knowledge about ADHD.

Kids and their world was sponsored by Janssen Poland. It received an honorary patronage of the Ombudsman for Children and the Centre for Education Development, both Polish Government Institutions.
